I was born in 1960 in Northern Germany. Today I am still living in the town of my birth, together with my husband and our two dogs.
My creative vein has always been part of my life. I can’t keep my hands still, they always want to do something. I have experimented with many creative techniques and now, finally, I have arrived, via ebay and Liane’s works, at making lampwork beads. Actually I had only been looking for rocailles, for my crocheted bracelets, when I stumbled over the handworked beads. For two months I had been collecting information, looking for and collecting materials (which are not to be found just around the corner) and in March 2003 I could finally gather first experiences at working with the flame.
Since then this occupation has not let go hold of me and I have participated in several classes and workshops in order to learn new techniques and expand my skills.
I love working and playing with shapes, colours and the flame.
